Wanda Watts

Director

Wanda Watts has over 25 years of professional experience in marketing and sales and a Community Advocate involving HIV/AIDS, Health Disparities which impact the African American community.

While working with Mayor Sheila Dixon in Baltimore City she served as the City-wide coordinator for the Center for Disease Control Business/Labor Responds to AIDS. The project involed extensive community outreach to local businesses and unions to bring about awareness of HIV/AIDS to their employees and their clients. 139 outlets participated in this city-wide project.

She has been a Executive Producer and talk show host for Elder Health Profiles on local Baltimore radio stations and was the Executive Producer and talk show host for B'More Healthy which aired on TV 25 in Baltimore City. While highlighting health disparities the show involved prevention information from health professionals, healthy cooking and exercise as prevention tools.
